I can seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you!

I've just been scanning the origins of the viewers of this blog and I noticed one in Bomen & one in Oura. Click the little square at the bottom of my blog- it's a tracker. You can see all the info I have access to.

Don't be afraid- I don't know any more than that, but out of interest, guys, I'm pretty much in the middle of the two of you, so howdy, neighbours. The world aint so small, after all!!!

Madge goes blogging...like a normal person!

OK- I know, big deal, but have I just wandered upon Madonna's blog? Do people that ravenous for exposure still continue the publicity excercise when they go home at night? If so, for God's sake, Madge take up an evening 'past-time' that will make you melt into an unproductive protozoa...no, wait- that could actually make you blog more...but your songs could actually get a little interesting...

Still, love 'em or hate 'em, it's the adaptable creatures of the world who are the true survivors...like axolotls...

Blogasites!

What is with this new brand of attention-grabbing blogger who simply leaves a comment in order to link to their own page?!

Receiving comments can be encouraging- even not-so-positive ones. At least it shows someone is going there. However, what's with people who give some broad, generic comment like "I read your blog and I found it inquisitive. Why don't you read mine?."!!! Inquisitive?! Is that the best they could imagine?

I found two such virtually identical comments on the same post from two separate blogggers. I would link to the blog I found them on, but I don't want to further their parasitical pursuits.Physical theft hurts the wallet; intellectual property theft in many forms, hurts the soul.

Isn't this about communication in a world when increasingly all we have left is electronic connections.? Why waste someone's place of ideas just to suit oneself...then again, why am I so surprised...it's just the sadly-predictable movements of the rats scurrying around the the human race!

Blue Butterfly

Here's to a certain 'Blue Butterfly',
a jammed CD in a game of musical chairs
at a kids' birthday party
and the merriment Nick Cave inevitably brings!
If he could just team up with Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits and Keith Richards
what a perky new Wiggles line-up they could achieve...!

State of Me

Heart pumps,
Angry machinery in a deteriorating factory.
Dusty sump-oil further mocks facades of shiny-newness.

Voices cut.
Jutting, sharp.
Soundwaves, as if frozen hard, lascerate my psyche.

Mind whirls.
Brain examines itself in psychostudy,
Curious child in mirror, transfixed.

Puzzle pieces close as much as they open.
